Origin of the brassin : cereal 100% barley pure malt, selected by Miclo, and malt mout prepared by the Meteor Brasserie. To get the IGA « Alsatian Whisky », we should use only barley brass.
Distillation in a traditional alambic of 1500L.
Distillation from march to june and october to december.
Degree of the brassin before distillation : 9% / 9,5%
Degree issue of alambic : 72% / 75% vol
Time of distillation : for an alambic of 15HL, about 8 hours for each pass
Ageing : The Sauternes Barrels coming from Château Clos haut Peyreguay 1er GCC and from Château Latrezotte Château le Sauternes de ma Fille. Time remaining in the same barrel : 4/5 years Oxygenation : Once per year No cooling – light filtration.
With its amber color, this single malt whisky will enjoy you with its nose of almonds and cereals. In mouth, you will find aromas of merignue and coffee with a fresh finish. Our products are not colored, nor sweetened nor flavored.
