Description

Pinot noir St-Hippolyte

Pinot noir

North of Ribeauvillé, in the township of Saint Hippolyte, the terroir is particularly well suited for Pinot Noir which benefits from the appellation “”Rouge de Saint Hippolyte”” with limited yields for greater aromatic concentration in the wines.
A beautiful shiny grenat colour. Nose of red berries (raspberry). Frank and clear in the mouth with red berries aromas. The tanins in the end is the warrant of a good keeping wine. A wine to keep for 3 to 7 years. Its tannins will soften after a few years of aging.
This frank and powerful wine marvelously reveals the aromas of Pinot Noir without any aging in oak casks. Enjoy it by accompanying roasted veal, cold meats or kebabs.
Serve between 10 and 12°C. Carafe if possible one hour before serving to allow the aromas to open up.
