Description
Pinot noir
To the north of Ribeauvillé, in the township of Rodern, the vineyards thrive in a granite basin particularly well suited to pinot noir with limited yields for greater aromatic concentration in the wines.
A deep dark red colour for this Pinot Noir de Rodern. The blackberry nose is typical of the terroir. Long, structured and harmonious mouth. Soft tannins offer great potential for ageing. A wine to keep for 3 to 7 years. Its tannins will soften after a few years of aging.
Enjoy this Pinot Noir de Rodern with grilled meats or meat in sauce, oven-roasted wild fowl or beef tips cooked in Pinot Noir.
Serve between 10 and 12°C. Carafe if possible one hour before serving to allow the aromas to open up.
